Molded after the body of the original Freehand, the Zero is a wide, butterfly-shape yo-yo; allowing for forgiving play and better stability. The ball bearing axle has been refined for maximum spin time while the weight has been re-distributed for optimum play. Each FH Zero comes with three different counter weights. The standard die, a rubber ball and a sculpted character head.

The standard die is for regular freehand play and dice grinds. The rubber ball is for special bounce-style freehand tricks. Finally, the new collectible sculpted character head is for regular freehand play and snags, where the player catches the string on the counterweight and uses it to help form mounts.

Alchemy FHZ Hubstack kits
Freehand Zero Hubstack Upgrade kits

The FHZ Stack Kit adapts a Freehand Zero, and many other yo-yos that use a 4mm bolt to use YoYoFactory Hubstacks. It does not come with bearings, plastic stacks, or o-rings.

The kit comes with two threaded axles of different lengths, two FHZ Stack nuts and four shims. Since plastic yo-yos are slightly inconstant, depending on the yo-yo you have, you may need to use one of the shims under each the nuts to allow the stacks to spin properly.

The Standard kit does not come with stacks, o-rings, or the two size A bearings that the stacks need to work. The YYF plastic stacks and o-rings are available directly from YoYofactory or the customer can scavange them from an existing YoYoFactory yo-yo. This is a perfect way to use the parts you have left when you upgraded the stacks on your YoYoFactory yo-yo.

(Note: the standard short stack works best, the long stacks are just too long for this yo-yo).
