 | About Dif-e-Yo Yo-yos
A Dif-e-Yo is a Custom hand Crafted product that is not produced solely with machines. They are designed and manufactured through a combination of machining and hand work. A large percentage of hand work is involved after the machining process which includes everything from polishing to assembly and testing each yoyo individually.
Dif-e-Yo Yo-Yo's are 2 1/8" in Diameter except for the Zzzip-Fly which is 1 7/8" in diameter. All have Dif-Pad Response, 1/4 in. Stainless Steel Threaded Axle and a Dif-e-Yo KonKave Bearing "Utility Patent Pending" # 10/766495 or Grooved Bearing.
Dif-e-Yo Player Models are Designed with Simplicity in mind and though they look similar, each model has a specifically designed width and weight distribution giving each model it's own Unique playing characteristics. You're sure to find one that fits your playing style.

This was the first Dif-e-yo player model.
A modified version of the Daizzy-Fly designed for Extreme stability and spin with the player in mind. The slimmer width makes it easy to squeeze into string segments.
Finished in Polished Aluminum now with Blue O-Ring rim weights this model has a Patented Dif-e-Yo KonKave bearing and FLUSH Dif-Pads.
The Dif-Fly is 1.200" wide and weighs 56 grams or 64 w/ O-rings installed. |

Looking for Smooth play with less response and
a response system that lasts.
Dif-Pads
Dif-e-Yo Dif-Pads are Precision cut for an exact fit in Dif-e-Yo yoyos.
They play like half worn friction stickers right from the start
and stay that way. Will fit any yoyo that uses Friction stickers.
Don't know how long they last because the one's in use have not
worn out yet after weeks of testing. After extended play the Dif-Pads will
seem like they have no response at all and what you will find is the pads are ok
and that it's the string that needs to be replaced to get some response again.
"Response varies in different yoyo's."
Response with Dif-Pads varies in different brand yoyos.
The response in a Dif-e-Yo with Dif-Pads will be less
compared to the response you will get for example from a Duncan Free Hand..
In a Dif-e-Yo .. 2 Dif-Pads are needed and Lube helps for more response.
Yoyo's with a smaller gap and/or more inner wall area offer "more" response
with the Dif-Pads but are still extremely Smooth and last a long time.
You might only need one Dif-Pad in these yoyo's to get the response you like.

The Dif-e-Yo KonKave Stainless Bearing centers the string while at the same time allowing it to move when needed for response.

The first Dif-e-Yo's had Grooved bearings to center the string.
As the gap in yoyos became wider for more advanced play, a better "playing" bearing was needed because the grooved bearing trapped the string in the center while additional string layers moved to the sides of the yoyo slowing it down.
The KonKave bearing is designed for Smoother multi-layer string tricks with Longer Spin times.
Not only does it help keep the string centered ... it also forces additional string layers to the center
and away from the sides of the yoyo.

The latest yo-yo from Frank Difeo is the new Dif-e-yo InTernal Turmoil or IT. The IT features satin finish aluminium, redesigned weight distribution, a slightly wider gap, and extra deep recesses that can be filled with your choice of pads or can be siliconed. All with the now legendary build quality that we have come to associate with the Dif-e-yo product range.

 | Tank
The Tank is the 3rd yoyo in the Dif Series line following the Bare Bones and Bone Chip. The major changes are subtle and although the Flush Dif-Pads, KonKave bearing and the thumb grooves remain.... it's a whole Dif-ferent Dif.
The inner string area profile is different than any previous Dif-e-Yo along with a flat and thinner center face area which results in more rim weight percentage of any previous Dif-e-Yo for even longer spin time. The axle is slightly smaller and shorter resulting in a shorter center stud for more room to thumb grind.
The axle/bearing setup is different. .. ( not new or revolutionary ) ..but different from all other Dif-e-Yo’s for stability and less center weight.
67 grams and 75 Grams with weight rings added.
