Yomega Fireball
The Yomega Fireball yo-yo is an easy to play yo-yo thanks to its transaxle design and traditional shape. It is nicely priced and comes in a huge range of colours. A very popular yo-yo.

Pros:
Excellent value beginners yo-yo
Good all-round good performer
Robust
Transaxle
LOTS of different colours available

Cons:
The cheaper transaxle design means this will yoyo will not spin for as long as a ball-bearing yoyo. This is not necessarily a bad thing for beginners since it makes the yoyo a bit more responsive (easier to return to the hand) but it can be limiting later on.

Summary: Cheap but really rather good!

Also consider: the Yomega Raider is a very similar design but features a ball-baring axle. Well worth the extra if you can afford it. Or, if you prefer something a bit more flashy, try the Yomega Lightbeam. Similar to the Fireball and also with a transaxle design but with LED lights! See the Yomega yoyo section for these.
