Hibridas Yoyo Strings
Brazilian Hibridas String 50 Percent Polyester 50 Percent Nylon. A hybrid mix of Mondo and Angel Hair string.

Hibridas strings are lovely a 50/50 Polyester/Nylon mix handmade Brazilian yoyo strings. This string is much firmer than the Mondo. Comes in packs of 5 and bundles of 100.

Angel Hair Yoyo Strings
Brazilian Angel Hair yo-yo Strings. 100 Percent Nylon (Polyamide).

Angel Hair strings are 100 per cent Nylon handmade Brazilian yoyo strings. This string is very firm. Comes in packs of 5 and bundles of 100.

Angel Hair is supplied with the loop already tied. Because the knots are easy to become undone due to the Angel Hair material, if you cut them to have a shorter string, you must first to do a knot or two and leave some string after the knot (around 0,12 in). The nylon material unwinds easily when not knotted!

Mondo Yoyo Strings
Brazilian Mondo String 100 Percent Polyester

Mondo strings are lovely 100% polyester handmade Brazilian yoyo strings. This string holds a loop better than most poly string, and is smooth and strong for great play. Comes in packs of 5 and bundles of 100.

Need help choosing yoyo strings?
Are you baffled by the different types of strings? Can't decide which to get?

Despite the variety of strings on offer, any yo-yo string by any manufacturer can be used with any yo-yo. If you are not sure which string to get, then a good choice is the 100% cotton or the 'slick' poly/cotton blend strings. Colour is down to your personal preference. Brighter colours can be easier to see when learning tricks.

You should change your yo-yo strings regularly (as a guide, after every few hours of yoyo play). For safety, always change your string when it becomes frayed.

The different yoyo string types such as type 6 or type 8 refer to the way the yoyo strings are made. As a rule of thumb, the higher the number the thicker the string. The different string types and materials do slightly affect yoyo play.

Yo-yo strings vary in length, and most players need to cut them to the size appropriate to their height and playing preference.
