YoyoFactory wanted to make a plastic yo-yo that was better than almost all metal yo-yos on the market. With the help of John Ando they got to work. The result is a most impressive plastic yo-yo. The Protostar has amazing spin times, phenomenal playability, and is smooth on the string. While touring through Europe, John Ando would constantly leave his Superstars in the hotel and spend the day at competitions and demonstrations with the Protostar. The Protostar is a competition ready yo-yo with a plastic yo-yo price.
