Arexons Motorsil D Red 60 g
Arexons Motor Silicone D Red 60 g. This makes an excellent silicon response system in suitably recessed yo-yos. As used by BIST and other yoyo makers. Many of our customers say that this is excellent for siliconing a recessed yoyo, saying it is long-lasting, sticks well to most recesses and materials, and is smoother and less snappy than clear silicones.

Note from Pete: Maurizio at BIST says that once opened, this will dry out unless it is kept in a refrigerator. Kept in a fridge it should keep for a long time.

YoyoJam Synergy Caps Size 1 White
A number of you have asked me when I will get more Synergy caps. YoYoJam have told me "Synergy caps have been discontinued. There is no plan of bringing them back in the near future."

Pop out the Yoyojam stock caps and pop in the Synergy Caps to create a yo-yo with free-spinning sides. Size 1 fits the HitMan, X-ConVict, Axiom and Aquarius models. The Synergy caps ONLY fit the yo-yos listed.

Note from Pete, shop owner: there are two things to be aware of when buying these caps:
1. The caps might not fit older yoyojam yoyos properly. Yoyojam made a slight change to new yoyo runs to accomodate the caps. It is a very, very slight change, but enough to make a difference. The caps are loose on older yoyos.
2. Getting the existing caps out of a YoyoJam yo-yo can be difficult, even when using a strong suction cap puller. One method that did work was to PUSH one edge of the cap (pog) really hard INTO the yoyo with one finger, which pops the cap up a little on the opposite side. There is a raised mound in the centre of the side of the yoyo (which accommodates the yoyo axle), and the cap will 'see-saw' over this mound.
3. The Synergy caps have small holes in the side which help you remove the caps more easily. You can use a small screwdriver to prise the Synergy caps off, or use a small 'hook' made out of a bent paperclip to pull the caps off.

I tried these caps on new YoyoJam Xconvicts, Hitman and Axiom yo-yos and they all fitted perfectly.

Alchemy FHZ Hubstack kits
Freehand Zero Hubstack Upgrade kits

The FHZ Stack Kit adapts a Freehand Zero, and many other yo-yos that use a 4mm bolt to use YoYoFactory Hubstacks. It does not come with bearings, plastic stacks, or o-rings.

The kit comes with two threaded axles of different lengths, two FHZ Stack nuts and four shims. Since plastic yo-yos are slightly inconstant, depending on the yo-yo you have, you may need to use one of the shims under each the nuts to allow the stacks to spin properly.

The Standard kit does not come with stacks, o-rings, or the two size A bearings that the stacks need to work. The YYF plastic stacks and o-rings are available directly from YoYofactory or the customer can scavange them from an existing YoYoFactory yo-yo. This is a perfect way to use the parts you have left when you upgraded the stacks on your YoYoFactory yo-yo.

(Note: the standard short stack works best, the long stacks are just too long for this yo-yo).
