These yo-yos are rather special to me. A little over 5 years ago, a heart transplant at Papworth Hospital in the UK saved my life. Only a few months later around July 2005 I started New Heart Trading, selling yo-yos and other skill toys.

Ernie at General Yo has very kindly made these beautiful yo-yos to help celebrate my 5 years with a new heart and 5 years of New Heart Trading. Huge thanks go out to Ernie. My utter thanks of course go to my anonymous donor and their family, whose kind-hearted generosity saved my life. If you are not a registered Organ Donor, please think again. It is a most selfless and generous thing to do.

I will be donating all the profits from the sale of these yo-yos to the hospital that saved my life, Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, England. The money will help support the incredible work that makes Papworth one of the world's leading specialist heart and lung hospitals.
