The KonKave Bearing is .250 ID x .188 wide x .500 dia. and centers the string while at the same time allowing it to move when needed for response.

The KonKave bearing is designed for Smoother multi-layer string tricks with Longer Spin times. Not only does it help keep the string centered ... it also forces additional string layers to the center and away from the sides of the yoyo.

"Ceramic" KonKave #7 ABEC Stainless grade bearing! Just the bearing, no shims. Note: the ceramic KK bearings are shipped in a heat-sealed plastic bag to identify them. They no longer have the black spot on the rim. Frank Difeo says these bearings have been 'improved'.

Size approx 250 x .500 x .188 inches which is approx 6.35 x 12.7 x 4.77mm

Attention!!
The Ceramic KonKave does not offer any response and a Bind will be needed to make the yoyo return.

The Ceramic KonKave bearings are shipped totally dry from the factory and so you should lube them when you receive them. To quote Frank DiFeo:
"I recommend they put some very light oil in them for lube to insure they don't lock up or cause a problem.
Just a very very tiny tiny drop will do and still allow the bearing to spin real good."

If you Heavily Lube the Ceramic Stainless KonKave for response it will perform the same as a Heavily Lubed steel Stainless KonKave !

These can be used in a YoYo Jam without shims. It's just that depending on how wide or how narrow they set the gap... the center of the bearing is not always in the center of the gap since only one half of the YoYo Jam moves when they open or close the gap.
Basically the shims are just to center the bearing in the gap and when you use shims, you tighten the yoyo all the way and it is then a fixed gap.

Note these are the same size bearings as those included in the Dif-e-yo KonKave YoyoJam Kit.

Note from Frank Difeo: The Dif/Yoyojam size Ceramic KonKave bearings have light oil in them. Do not clean the bearing, simply blow out the light oil with compressed air and break in the bearing by using it in the yoyo.

The KonKave Bearing is .250 ID x .188 wide x .500 dia. and centers the string while at the same time allowing it to move when needed for response. The KonKave bearing is an improvement over the Grooved bearing for even Smoother play and Long Spin times and Great for multi-layer string tricks because it also forces the string layers toward the center of the bearing keeping the layers away from the pads and side of the yoyo halves.

These simply replace the existing bearing in a hspin yoyo. Fits the Pyro, Pyro Light, Envy and the Envy 64.
