No, these are not yo-yos! For a limited period I am pleased to bring you some very fine hand made Spintops from Maurizio in Italy. Maurizio is a regular Euro-Yo customer and he has a passion for spin tops (or Trottola as they are called in Italy). They might not be yo-yos but they deserve to be seen by the World and I am pleased to present them to you.

These very fine quality tops and are recommended for serious spin top players, connoisseurs and collectors.

Other: includes spare metal washer, plastic washer, hex nut. Instructions in Italian and English. Each spin top is dyed by hand and the colour will vary a little. Each piece is unique.

Every top mounts two 5x10x4 ball bearing, the tip can be fixed with two washers, one plastic and one metal (enclosed)

The body is machined in one step; this ensures a perfect axial balance

All the Giulia spin top models have exactly the same specifications, only the colours are different. The red and yellow colours are achieved by dying the white Delrin. The red top is known as the Enzo Edition. The black model is known as the Chris Neff signature edition and was made by machining black Delrin. Only 15 black Giulia spin tops were made.

Note from Pete: Maurizio recommends using a thin lube like the Yoyojam Thin Lube to lubricate the spin top bearing. All the bearings are lubed. To remove the external bearing, insert a cross screw into the bearing, the same size of the hole. Move gently the screw left/right untill the bearing pops out, take out the spacer and pull the internal bearing as it pops out too. Do this with great care and at your own risk!
