MadHouse Epic Yo-Yo Blue Acid/Silver
Note from Pete, euro-yo: One of the Madhouse Epic yo-yos had a faulty hub bearing. When Rick, the maker heard about this he asked us to send all the Epic yo-yos back to him at his expense. He then personally checked every Epic and replaced a couple of bearings where the bearing was stuck. Then he shipped them back to me with some cool stickers. So here they are, perfect Epics as checked by Rick, which we will now ship with a couple of cool Madhouse stickers!

The EPIC is the first hubstack yoyo from MadHouse Yo-Yos and we are very pleased to have these on sale here at Eruo-yo. With the help of Nick Pelham and his insights into hubstack play, MadHouse have been able to create a great player design specifically for high performance. The first run is just 100 EPICS.

Note from Euro-Yo: The Epic features a very clever and innovative new hubstack design which covers most of the side of the yoyo. These work very well. However, the hubstacks are not intended to be held near the edges. If you do this with enough pressure the stacks can rub on the body of the yoyo. You should try to hold them in the centre.

Rick at MadHouse gave us the following additional information about their new Epic yoyo:
"The main difference between The EPIC and most stacked yoyos as we see it.

o With most stacked yoyos your string can and will get stuck behind the stack if you try any complicated tricks. - The String on an EPIC cannot get stuck behind the stack on an EPIC during normal play.

o Most stacks have small catch areas which limit the kind of tricks that can be performed on the Stack. With lager stacks you can do harder tricks. - The EPIC has a large smooth and concave catch area for ease of catching. This will cause harder tricks to be attempted and achieved just as bearings have changed the way standard yo-yoing has been done.

o Last most stacked yoyos have an Oring System to attach the stack to the yoyo. We have found that the orings rot over time also as you pinch the stacks they slow down significantly because the Oring acts as a break. - With the EPIC's metal on metal screw system there is less friction caused and therefore longer spins on the Stacks while pinched.
And Best of all machined metal hubstacks, acid anodized colors.
Bottom line;
When nick and I designed this yoyo we were looking for a solid stack player directed at that style of play. So the EPIC with TA-Ta technology was specifically designed to push stack play to the next level. The EPIC is the next step in Stack play."
