| Why do I sell Yo-yo's?I was fortunate enough to have a heart transplant in 2005 which saved my life. During my recovery post-transplant I was very tense and fidgety as a result of all the medication that I was receiving. On impulse (I have no idea why!) I bought a yo-yo on Amazon as a stress-reliever; I was soon hooked! As I shopped for more yo-yos I soon realised that the prices of yo-yos in Europe and the UK were extraordinarily high compared to prices in the USA. So I purchased some yo-yos direct from online stores in the USA and sold some on eBay. Even buying them at retail prices from the USA I found I could sell at a profit in the UK, the prices here at that time were so inflated!
I had always wanted to run my own business, but I had never found the right opportunity or had the nerve to 'give it a go'. I loved yo-yo's and I could see a market that was lacking any real competition Within a few months my hobby was evolving into a small business selling yo-yos online. It had taken a heart transplant to give me the guts to make my dream of being self-employed come true! The business quickly grew to include lots of other 'skill toys' that I found 'fun'. Within a year I had opened 'Let's Have Fun', the first of my many online stores. My new hobby became a proper business. New Heart Trading (get it?) was born.
As my business expanded, my first web shop, www.LetsHaveFun.biz, grew and grew! In that time the growth in sales of yo-yos has been phenomenal and in 2007 the time came for me to open a new shop, Euro-yo, specialising in yo-yos.
